EIT Health at Almedalen 2017

Collaboration between healthcare, business and academia is often presented as a key factor in enabling innovations in life sciences. The idea is that when different knowledge, resources and perspectives are linked innovation will occur. There is nothing wrong with the idea itself, the problems arise when it is to be realized. Often we take for granted that cooperation will occur if we "just sit around the same table". But real cooperation requires skills and systematics - without it the innovation we hope for, too easily is lost in slow processes and conflicts.

The EIT Health seminar It rarely goes by itself – education for better collaboration between healthcare, industry and academia highlights the need for collaboration-skills and shows how processdesign and processmanagement can contribute to successful collaboration.

A highprofiled panel will discuss the skills that are really needed and how these skills can be developed through education – key parts in the realization of an enhanced and value-creating collaborations.
