The duties consists of supporting researchers within the ongoing research project "Empirical Studies of the Microfoundations of Macroeconomic Theory" funded by the Ragnar Söderberg Foundation (see http://ragnarsoderbergsstiftelse.se/makroekonomiska-modeller for more information). Important tasks are the handling and analysis of large amounts of data as well as coding economic and statistical models.
We are looking for you who have recently completed or soon will complete an academic education with a focus on mathematics, finance, econometrics, mathematical statistics, statistics, economics or the like, with clear elements of programming. We want you to have good quantitative analytical ability as well as advanced knowledge of and relevant programming experience in Stata and /or MATLAB. Furthermore, we attach great importance to the ability to document your work in writing.
We are looking for a person who is service-oriented, careful, self-reliant and persistent. Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement. Since data documentation is only available in Swedish, basic knowledge of Swedish is meriting. Experience of Fortran, C / C ++, Gauss, Python and SAS is a merit.
