Postdoctor in cancer research

The position is funded from Karlssons stiftelse, Ankarstrands stiftelse, Claésons stiftelse, S och B Engströms stiftelse and Sonja Engströms stiftelse. The position will be placed at one of the departments within the Faculty of Medicine.
Qualifications: Eligible for employment as postdoctor are those who have a doctoral degree or a foreign degree found to be equivalent with a doctoral degree. The degree shall have been obtained at most three years before the deadline for applications. If there are special reasons the degree may have been obtained earlier. Special reasons refers to absence due to illness, parental leave, commissions of trust within trade unions or other similar circumstances.
Assessment: Special emphasis will be placed on academic proficiency within cancer research. Personal characteristics will be considered.
Following the qualitative holistic assessment of competence and expertise, the applicants who are judged to have the best potential to carry out and develop the relevant duties and to help advance operations will be selected.

The application should also contain a certificate from the department head that the department can host the applicant.
