Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences has 140 employees and a number of visiting researchers and fellow students. The department has twelve research groups with a common administration and we are doing research and teaching in pharmaceutical cell biology / biochemistry/immune oncology/protein drug design, pharmacology, pharmaceutical and drug addiction, pharmacotherapy, pharmacokinetics, pharmacometry, clinical pharmacy, bioinformatics, imaging mass spectrometry, molecular neuropharmacology, immunology, biological drugs / biotechnology as well as toxicology and drug safety. PhD in immunology and/or oncology or comparable work experience within the field of immunology and/or oncology. Background in cancer and immunology as well as experience with the development of biopharmaceuticals.
The work will center around the development of biopharmaceuticals and their characterization in model systems. The work also involves planning, coordinating of the work of the team, execution and reporting back to the group leader or partner. The work may involve collaborations with the industry.
