About the course

The course gives you advanced knowledge of the relationship between the structure and function of biomolecules as well as skills in structural bioinformatic analyses. The course also provides insights into current research and introduces how structures are used in drug development and biotechnology. The course covers the constitution and traits of biological macromolecules, experimental methods in structural biology, databases and bioinformatic tools related to the structure and function of macromolecules and structure-function relationships in a wide range of biological processes such as translation, signalling and enzyme catalysis.
