Master’s studies

We welcome American students!

We have over 4000 international students on campus studying for a PhD, a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or spending a semester here as exchange students.

Since the nationality of our students is not registered in our systems we don’t know how many American students we currently have. However, we do know that in 2016 we had 317 applicants from USA for our Master’s programmes. This puts USA on the 9th place on that list.

Scholarship and funding for American students

Uppsala University is a participating institution in the US Government Federal William D.
