Information Regarding Fees for Current Students
Payment of Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are paid one semester at a time and must be received one month before the start of semester. Students will receive an invoice to their student email account before payment must be made. Students can choose to pay tuition fees using the invoice or by credit card.
Current students who fail to pay the stipulated tuition fee will be put on academic suspension.
If you do not follow the intended study plan for your two-year Master's programme, you must inform the Student Fee Master by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reduction of Tuition Fee
If you have earned credits from previous studies (not including your Bachelor's degree) it is sometimes possible to have your tuition fee reduced. A decision regarding transfer of credits must be made prior to the tuition fee payment for a reduction to be possible.
If you wish to transfer credits from prior studies, please contact the Student Fee Master by sending an email to: email@example.com.
If your programme contains study abroad or you wish to take part in an exchange programme during your time at Uppsala University, you are still required to pay tuition for the period of time concerned.
All students have the right to apply for leave of studies. For more information, please contact your programme coordinator. Students are not required to pay tuition (unless you enrol in freestanding courses) during their leave.
