About the course:
Media and communication pertain to almost every aspect of modern life. Communication and media is also becoming increasingly international, and specialists are now needed in many spheres of society. International Media and Communication Studies, IMCS, aims at providing students with insights in such fields as media structure, media politics, media economy and planned/strategic communication management, with an aim at improving their skills in international communication. IMCS is open to Swedish and exchange students who want to give their academic studies an international orientation. The course is linked to international student exchange programmes, and it includes optional study tours to two major European cities at the student's own expense. IMCS is equivalent to Medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap, with the exception that all coursework is in English. See also Medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap A and B.
