During the second semester, the students will follow advanced courses in one of the above-mentioned specialisations (tracks). The third semester is “elective” which means that the students either can choose elective courses, join the international exchange programme and study abroad, or do an internship at a company or organisation. The final, fourth semester is devoted to thesis work, and to seminars in connection to this.

The programme follows a fixed syllabus, which means that the courses are to be studied in a set order.

Instruction

Progression within the Programme

During the programme, the student will obtain knowledge in business and management that complements the knowledge obtained at the Bachelor level. The student should also gradually acquire in-depth knowledge and obtain more advanced skills and training within the chosen specialisation (track). The knowledge will be acquired through independent studies, seminars and lectures, various forms of group assignments, as well as through individual work.

During the programme, the student should acquire the ability to analyse, plan, execute, and report scientific work. The student’s ability to analyse and apply theoretical knowledge in practice should continuously be developed. Increased autonomy will be obtained since the students during the education will take a greater responsibility for their own learning. Training in collaboration, oral and written communication, and understanding of seminar- and meeting culture will be gradually deepened. National as well as international contacts will be encouraged.
