New exam hall for students with disabilities

21 June 2016

Uppsala University is to design an examination location for students who have disabilities. The premises will open in the spring semester 2017.

– It's great that there will be a new location for examinations. The Buildings Division has selected a venue that will fill many needs, says Catrin Schulze, the university's coordinator for students with disabilities.

A new, more adapted examination location has been requested from both the university staff and students, according to Catrin Schulze. The student unions at Uppsala University are amongst those who have pushed for a new examination hall. The new premises will be located at Klostergatan 3, Uppsala.

– It will be a great improvement for students and will also make it easier for those who arrange exams for the students, says Catrin Schulze.
