CEMFOR welcomes guest researcher Deepti R. Bhat

Deepti R. Bhat (PhD Candidate in Education, University of Bristol) will join CEMFOR and the Department of Education (UU) as a guest researcher from October to December 2024. At CEMFOR, Deepti will contribute to the CIRCUS-funded research network Uppsala Interdisciplinary Network on Racism and Education. Deepti’s research focuses on how students from the Adivasi community in India experience formal education. Her work engages with decolonial and anti-caste perspectives and involves co-creating pathways to an epistemically just future.
