Are you a researcher who collects data from social media or websites or are you thinking of using digital data for a future project? Have you considered the ethical and moral aspects of using such methods? Do you know whether it is even legal to download the data you want to collect according to Swedish law? If this topic is relevant to you or could be in the future, then come and join us for a lively discussion of digital data research and the trial and error experienced by current researchers at Uppsala University.
The panel includes Kim Beecheno, post-doctoral researcher at CRS, Karl Berglund, Dept of Literature (formerly at CDHU) and Johan Asker, Uppsala University Legal Advisor.
Followed by a mingle at 5pm.
