Why did you choose to come to the Centre for Gender Research?
The relevancy of the Center’s research areas to my study have encouraged me to apply for the projects of the Center. I believe the Center’s projects would provide me to extend my theoretical and methodological background on gender studies.

Shortly describe your current research project:
As my master’s thesis, I have been working on gendered spatial practices in urban spaces of Istanbul as a case study. My research question is “How do people produce public, semi-public, semi-private, and private spaces of urban by daily life practices in the context of gender?”
