Symposium: Can Grand Challenges, the Interdisciplinary Organisation of Research and Academic Freedom Collide?
HERO and CIRCUS heartily welcome all students and staff at Uppsala University to take part in the symposium Can Grand Challenges, the Interdisciplinary Organisation of Research and Academic Freedom Collide? Three internationally prominent scholars, Robert Frodeman (US), Steve Fuller (UK) and Yves Gingras (Canada) will each make brief presentations, after which Sharon Rider will moderate a panel discussion with the speakers.
The event will take place on November 11th between 1 pm and 4 pm in the Sydney Alrutz lecture hall (13:026) in the Blåsenhus building. No registration is required.
