DPCR Seminar Myanmar’s 1.2.21 Coup: Resistance, Conflict, and Democracy.

Join us for a seminar to discuss the current situation in Myanmar amid a coup
and popular protest against the coup. The seminar is co-hosted with Uppsala Forum.

How do we make sense of the coup and its implications for Myanmar’s path
for democracy and peace? Protest mobilization in Myanmar also follows the
trend in pro-democracy campaigns in its neighbors in Southeast Asia and
elsewhere in response to a wider autocratic shift.
