E-train a journey towards innovation for better health
We educate, inspire and support student initiatives in health entrepreneurship and innovation.
The goal of E-train is to offer a clear, attractive and guided path from basal knowledge about innovation and entrepreneurship towards practical implementation of ideas and processes within health care. E-Train has a strong focus on citizen/patient involvement. It consists of curricular courses as well as extra curricular events.
Building on the solid knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship provided in the five-credit course “Health Innovation – an interdisciplinary approach”, E-Train will help learners take their skills and ideas to the second level with an advanced course, “ Health innovation and entrepreneurship in practice”. The course of five credits, will be offered in the summer and will see participants undertake hands-on work, using the E-Train programme’s patient-public involvement model and methods from local and partner innovation systems. The needs driven projects undertaken by the learners will be based on challenges identified by the participants themselves in scouting events – or through our established contacts with hospitals, the municipality and the local biotech industry.
The next stop in E-train, level three, involves supported coaching in innovation and entrepreneurship in which learners are offered a set of interactive activities, such as workshops and pitching/competition:
