Take the next step on your innovative journey! Join our inspirational seminar series about innovation and entrepreneurship aiming for a healthier society.

Innovation Tuesdays is a series of workshops where the participants meet experts within innovation and entrepreneurship that will share their experience and their knowledge.  The series is aimed both for people with previous experience of innovative projects and for beginners who are interested in learning more about the field.

Innovation Tuesdays is part of the E-train, which is one of EIT Health campus projects. The goal of E-train is to offer a clear, attractive and guided path from basal knowledge about innovation and entrepreneurship towards practical implementation of ideas and processes within health care.

Innovation Tuesdays are organised together with University of Groningen

Participants who attend two seminars or more are able to receive a EIT Health participation certificate.

November 10th at 17:15-18 Entrepreneurial journey – meet international experts
Meet Hobey Tam, Tanya Colonna the founders of Blacktop labs BV, Groningen, and hear their Entrepreneurial story.

Hobey and Tanya have been friends for eleven years and business partners for four. They began their entrepreneurial journey in the United states with a technology consulting company. After working on multiple ventures together, they decided to focus their efforts on a med-tech startup, BlackTop Labs BV, now Oro Muscles BV. Their work with Oro transplanted them from the US to the Netherlands, where they have participated in two European accelerator programs, received over €400k in funding for their company, and they are on their way to raising their next funding round of €800k while working with high-profile pilot sites such as the Dutch Olympic skating team (NXTGEN).

November 24th at 17:15-18The art of negotiating with partners and investors
Hobey Tam, Tanya Colonna from Oro Muscles BV Groningen returns to share their experiences and scoop about how to communicate to reach your goals.

After an intense 10 months and €10k in attorney fees, Hobey and Tanya negotiated a world-wide, exclusive license with their firmware suppliers. During this session, they will share their experiences and what they learned. Be prepared for interactive learning.
