Jan Lindvall

Jan Lindvall has a PhD and is a Docent at Uppsala University. He has extensive experience in both academia and as a consultant in management, management control, and digitalisation. Within the health care sector, his research and consultancy work has resulted in several publications (reports and books), and he is a frequent keynote speaker. He is particularly interested in digital tools (e.g. Business Intelligence and Analytics), and what they can mean for improved decisions and actions in complex organisations, like those found in the health care sector.  

His role within EIT Health
Jan Lindvall is responsible for the course “Efficiency, Control, and Leadership in Health Care”, in the Health Care Management master program at Uppsala University. This is related to the EIT project: Fostering management and innovation skills for health professionals.
