Examples of supported scientific areas range from translational medicine and complex diseases, to evolutionary and environmental research. We are now looking for a new team member to focus on development and implementation of tools and resources focusing on human whole genome sequencing.
You will develop, test and apply bioinformatics tools to analyse data from human whole genome sequencing (WGS). The work will be conducted in collaboration with other bioinformaticians at NBIS/SciLifeLab, and in close interaction with a number of research projects with support from the Bioinformatics Long-term Support team, primarily with a focus on projects within cancer genomics, but also other projects with access to WGS data. You will also help to implement and test other tools under development at NBIS/SciLifeLab, and participate in teaching at national workshops.
