Researcher in mathematical general relativity

The Department of Mathematics conducts research and provides education at undergraduate to graduate level in mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. The number of employees is 120, including 30 PhD students. The Department has three research programs: analysis and probability, algebra and geometry, applied mathematics and statistics.
Duties: Conduct research in mathematical general relativity, addressing questions related to asymptotics for expanding direction of cosmological spacetimes, by both analytic and numerical methods.
Requirements: PhD exam in mathematics and documented experience of research in mathematical general relativity. Documented experience of research in cosmology, geometric flows, numerical methods for partial differential equations. Fluent in English, oral and written. Ability to work independently and to cooperate.

Salary: Individually negotiated salary.
