The Division for Internationalisation at Uppsala University is looking for digital international student ambassadors
Uppsala University aims to offer educational programmes of the highest national and international quality and to give all students the opportunity to acquire first-class knowledge in their subject area as well as general academic skills. The Division for Internationalisation works with recruiting students from all over the world, supporting them in pursuing education for a global labour market and creating an open, inclusive and international study environment.
We are now looking for creative and committed international student ambassadors to help us market the university through our digital platforms. Our target group is prospective international students.

Duties
In the team of digital ambassadors your job is to, in cooperation with the Division for Internationalisation, market and spread awareness about Uppsala University internationally. You will work as a content creator, planning, creating and publishing content for our digital platforms. The digital ambassadors take turn to administrate our Instagram account @TaggedforUppsala where you will show your everyday life as an international student in Uppsala or Visby. You will inspire and support future students and answer their questions, in order to help them make the best decision about their future. You will also produce blog posts for our blog #TaggedforUppsala where you will write about topics related to life as an international student in Sweden. We don’t expect you to work during the winter and summer holidays, but you will have to help in planning and creating content in advanced.
Requirements
In order to apply to join the team you will need to be a registered student at Uppsala University during the academic year 2022-2023. You must be able to communicate fluently in English. You will have to be an on-campus student in Uppsala or Visby.
Additional qualifications
You have experience in social media which you can demonstrate and you have good verbal presentation skills. Emphasis will be placed on personal skills such as creativity, writing, ability to work independently and organisational skills.
About the employment
Type of employment is hourly employment. Scope of employment approximately 75-85 hours per academic year. Starting date: august 2022 or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala/Visby. Salary: The hourly fee is 140 SEK / hour.
