Important information for your first salary payment

When it is time for your first salary payment, it is important that you have opened a Swedish bank account. Otherwise the payment will have to be made to your foreign bank account.

In order to open a Swedish bank account, you first need:

• A Swedish social security number
• A Swedish ID card

If you will not have time to set up a Swedish bank account before your first salary, we strongly recommend that you make sure to have an economical buffer to live off until the following monthly salary.

When you have your Swedish bank account you have to register the account to be able to get your salary payment please see more information from the payroll department.
