Evaluation support
Support in connection with evaluations may take various forms, including:
- Consultative support at various phases or continuously throughout the evaluation process. This support may consist in discussions on the structure of the evaluations, methodological options or feedback on draft answers to evaluation questions.
- Course evaluation seminars held each term, to discuss guidelines and recommendations, formative and summative course evaluations and implementation. Attendees at the course evaluation seminars include course directors, teachers, course administrators and students. Consultative support is also provided on request.
- Support in connection with external evaluations, such as the Swedish Higher Education Authority’s quality evaluations of the University’s study programmes at basic, advanced and postgraduate level. A continuous dialogue with the Authority enables faculties and departments to receive up-to-date information about the evaluations and how to prepare for them. Feedback is given on self-evaluations, action plans and action reports. Completed questionnaire surveys are used as documentation in the self-evaluation work.
- Support in connection with the University’s research evaluation KoF17. As a basis for the forthcoming self-evaluations, both a questionnaire survey on quality in the research environment and a bibliometric analysis are being implemented throughout the University. After the evaluation, sharing of knowledge across faculty and domain boundaries will be arranged.
