A popular Erasmus+ destination
2018-09-20
The Erasmus+ programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe has proved to be an invaluable asset for staff competence training and network building, and the Division for Quality Enhancement has proved to be a popular destination for our European colleagues!
During 2018 we have already hosted numerous visitors from Latvia and Lithuania, Serbia, France, Turkey, Austria and Hungary to name but a few, for both longer research sojourns or for shorter, fact-finding missions. We are very pleased that so many professionals that are engaged in educational development and quality work within universities in Europe are interested in our work, and the models on which we base our activities here at Uppsala University. We also feel that these meetings with active colleagues broadens our own network connections and provides very interesting opportunities for collaboration and extended development work. There is an apparent interest in active learning and student participation, technological developments and application in teaching and learning as well as in quality work and general educational development, which we gladly discuss with our guests.
Are you and/or your colleagues interested in visiting the Division via Erasmus+ or another study visit programme? Please do not hesitate to contact Geir Gunnlaugsson, geir.gunnlaugsson@uadm.uu.se
