Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ) is one of the largest external contributors of funding for research at the University. RJ supports research in the humanities and social sciences.

Pro Futura is a national cutting-edge research programme in the humanities and social sciences for particularly promising young researchers. The programme was established in 1999 by the Riksbanken Jubileumsfond in collaboration with the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (SCAS).
