    Outline for distance course: The course is given as a net-based course. Assignments are submitted in the e-classroom on internet and you will receive personal feedback by the teacher. The course also includes other mandatory exercises. A forum for discussion is available.

Entry requirements: 60 credits in wind power project management including Wind Power Energy Calculations, 7.5 credits, Wind Power Planning and Permission, 7.5 credits, and Wind Power Installation, Operations and Maintenance, 7.5 credits.

Please note: The course is in English but hand-in assignments and project report can be submitted in Swedish.

About the course

Using the skills from previous courses and course literature regarding the economics of a project and the planning of a project, you will make a feasibility study for a wind power project. The wind power project assignment consists of several of the necessary steps in the development of a wind farm project. During the feasibility study both windPRO and WAsP wind resource assessment tools will be used.
