Learning outcomes

After passing the course, the student must be able to:

  • use previous knowledge to plan a study within a selected subject within additive manufacturing,
  • summarize and evaluate acquired knowledge within a the selected subject,
  • integrate, generalize and combine the aquired knowledge with previously knowledge in the field of additive manufacturing.

Content

The purpose of this course is to give students the opportunity learn aspects of additive manufacturing that is not covered by the regular courses in the master's program in additive manufacturing. The work is peformed individually and should be focused on literature studies.

The content is defined together with the program coordinator and program advisor to promote further studies within a particular specialisation of the Master programme in Additive Manufacturing .

Instruction

Self studies and supervision.

Assessment

Written report and oral presentation (5 credits).

If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
