Radiation, temperature and wind conditions in the atmosphere. Condensation and precipitation. Air masses and fronts. Low and high pressure areas. Tropical meteorology. Meteorological standard instruments and their accuracy. Cloud classification. Climatology.
Lectures and home assignments.
Written Examination (6 ECTS) at the end of the course. The home assignments corresponds to 1.5 ESTS. To pass the course both the written examination and the home assignments must be passed. A student who fails the exam may try again in agreement with the director of study.
