Content
This course aims at creating a potentially successful and well-reflected structure and plan for independent work on a master thesis. This includes setting a topic, identifying research questions and locating the place, importance and nature of these in relation to previous and current scholarship in the chosen scholarly context. Contents and perspectives of this module are adapted to the individual project of each student.
Instruction
Seminars and lectures.
Assessment
The course assessment consists of a written plan of the student's dissertation topic, comprising 8-10 pages including references and bibliography. Assignments for specific seminars may also be included in the assessment.
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the University's disability coordinator.
