About the course

Recent progress in genomics offers the possibility to obtain new insights on a large array of questions in evolutionary biology, with applications to areas as diverse as conservation biology and medicine. The course's overarching aim will be to give students with a solid background in biology an overview of these questions and an in-depth understanding of the concepts and tools used to address them. The course will be organised around several modules and an independent project.
