Entry requirements: 120 credits in science/engineering. Participation in Quantum Mechanics, Advanced Course. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course

The course discusses the basics of neutron scattering and how the method can be used to characterise magnetic properties, especially spin. Applications of synchrotron-based methods to understand energy conversion processes for optimising solar cells, LEDs and for the dynamics of future magnetic and electronic components.
