About the course
Geophysics provides powerful tools for studying large volumes of the inaccessible sub-surface of the Earth. However, the direct observables are often of limited usefulness, such as seismic velocity or electric conductivity. By studying the physical behaviour of rocks, geophysical data can be linked to geology. The course is aimed at geophysicists as well as geology students with a good math/physics background.
