Entry requirements: 60 credits in mathematics and physics, or 60 credits in earth science and 15 credits in mathematics. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course
Introductory course in geophysical methods for students with a solid geology/earth science and math and physics background. The course gives an introduction to geophysical prospecting techniques, the physical properties of rocks and soils, geophysical methods, and processing, modelling and interpretation of geophysical data. Lectures and field component partly shared with Applied and environmental geophysics.
