Entry requirements: 120 credits with 90 credits in earth science or in technology or physics. Participation in Statistics and Data Analysis Methods 5 credits. 15 credits in mathematics are recommended. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course

This course investigates basic hydrological processes such as precipitation, evaporation and runoff at an advanced level. You will gain an increased understanding of hydrological processes in order to qualitatively and quantitatively describe water flow and storage and different parts of the hydrological cycle. The course places a strong emphasis on the mathematical basis for hydrology.
