Entry requirements: 120 credits with 60 credits in chemistry including Biomaterials II; or 180 credits in biology, pharmaceutical chemistry or medical science including Regenerative Medicine, 7.5 credits. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course

The course will highlight recent advances in bioengineering applications, from regenerative medicine to personalised therapy and also some aspects of regulatory challenges. The course content includes basic biology coupled with chemical and engineering principles for the development of e.g., wearable electronics, drug delivery systems. Student-centred learning methodologies with active student participation and discussions will be employed. The course also provides training in presentation skills and scientific writing.
