Entry requirements: 120 credits in science/engineering including 20 credits in chemistry. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course

The course covers different biomaterials that are used in regenerative medicine. Basic concepts: synthetic polymers vs. naturally occurring polymers, ceramics and metals, material properties, function and use permanent vs. biodegradable materials biomechanics, analytical techniques for characterisation of materials.
