Entry requirements: 120 credits including 15 credits in biochemistry. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course
You should after the course have a broadened and deepened knowledge of biochemistry, with an improved ability to acquire and present scientific information. The main themes addressed during the course are: the expression of the genome in terms of structure and function as well as time and space, conversion of energy and matter, catalysis and regulation of biochemical reactions, signal transduction, mediation of information and evolution of proteins and nucleic acids. The course includes discussion of primary literature and presentation of relevant biochemical research with continuous communication training.
