Entry requirements: 120 credits including 30 credits in mathematics and a second course in programming. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course

Computer generated images and movies are often seen on newspapers, magazines, on TV and in movies. But how are these images produced? What is happening when an object is rotating or moving? These kind of questions is discussed in this course.

The course covers the fundamental principles and methods in the area. The mathematical operations, the software and hardware which, the fundament for computer graphics, are studied.

A part of the course is programming in an API (application programming interface), mainly OpenGL.
