Entry requirements: 90 credits in science/engineering (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, earth science, computer science, material science), including 15 credits in mathematics or physics and 10 credits in chemistry. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course
This course will present the characteristics of natural resources and their formation. Exploration will be approached from geological and geochemical perspectives. Geological exploration will focus on host rocks, alteration and geological structures of ore deposits. Geochemical exploration will cover till, soil and stream geochemistry, as well as alteration vectors. Aspects of economic geology and resource use will be integrated throughout the course.
