Entry requirements: 120 credits including 90 credits in earth science or biology. Principles of Palaeobiology, 15 credits, Origin and Early Evolution of Life, 15 credits, or Evolution and development, 15 credits, is recommended. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course
The aim of this course is to study the vertebrates - their origin, evolution and extinctions. This course therefore follows on the course Origin and Early Evolution of Life. A major part of the course is a research-oriented project that will be presented orally and as a research paper.
