About the course
Even though computers keep getting faster, there is still a need to optimise the capacity, i.e. get as much work done as possible within a limited and feasible time frame. This course deals with how you build good, efficient and well-structured code for modern computers, and what tools to use. It also covers how to parallelise code on e.g. multicore computers, and the principles behind it. The programming language used in the course is mainly C.
