Entry requirements: 120 credits including Scientific Computing I. Computer Programming II or Imperative and Object-oriented Programming Methodology (programming in Java or Python). Also recommended are courses in parallel computing/programming, distributed systems and web applications. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

About the course
Cloud computing is a kind of internet-based computing, where scalable IT-resources are provided on Internet. IT might for instance be data and information storage or computing resources. As opposed to having your own powerful IT-system, you use resources on the cloud. This course is an introduction to the fundamentals in cloud computing and also covers practical use of cloud resources.
