About the course
The course covers the foundations of web development and how it is used to create websites. You will gain an understanding of how the internet works and how websites (static and dynamic) are constructed. Foundational technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as tools such as CMS systems, are introduced. You will also be introduced to user-centered design, information management and confidentiality, as well as search engine optimisation and accessibility.
