About the course
This course introduces basic concepts and theories to understand the modern urban society and its importance for economic, social, cultural and political processes, both from a global and national perspective. Attention is given to the development of the urban cultural landscape, along with various aspects of the city life form, such as living and activity patterns, segregation processes and environmental and planning problems.
