Entry requirements: 120 credits within the natural sciences, medical, biomedical, civil engineering programmes or equivalent education. All educations need to include chemistry or biochemistry of 30 credits, and cell/molecular biology and genomics of 30 credits.

If you are not a citizen of a European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) country, or Switzerland, you are required to pay application or tuition fees. Formal exchange students will be exempted from tuition fees, as well as the application fee. Read more about fees.

Please note: For admission, an agreement concerning project set-up and supervision with one of the course director approved supervisors is also required. The project agreement has to be submitted together with the application.

About the course

The course comprises 20 weeks within the framework of a research project in the form of laboratory work under supervision, relevant literature studies and participation in seminars.
