About the course
Contemporary educational systems are undergoing profound transformations that include increasing degrees of marketisation, privatisation, and internationalisation. These transformations are often linked to changes in governance and management of education of which New Public Management models are a major expression. Parallel to these changes, many systems have also expanded rapidly in numbers of enrolled pupils and students. Focusing on these transformations, the course aims at taking a grip of the increasing complexity of modern educational systems.
