Entry requirements: A Bachelor's degree including at least 90 credits from a discipline pertaining to the social sciences or the humanities.

About the course
The course examines Pierre Bourdieu's sociology of education through a close reading and discussion of five of the sociologist's major works. Emphasis is put on key concepts, research methods and research findings, as well as on how Bourdieu's sociology can be applied in the analysis of current issues in sociology of education and culture.
