Selection: All qualified applicants will be admitted.
Outline for distance course: The teaching on this course takes place by tutoring sessions via Zoom, in group or individually, when parts of the texts are analysed and discussed. The course requires independent work in translating and analysing a number of Hebrew prose texts, including gaining familiarity with their historical contexts as well as linguistic and literary traits of the texts. The course is concluded with a joint seminar, which is part of the examination, on these texts, and a written essay.

Entry requirements: A Bachelor's degree with Semitic Languages as the main field of study or equivalent.

About the course
The course deepens and broadens the ability to textual analysis applied mainly to Hebrew prose texts. Reading of about 125 pages advanced Hebrew prose texts.
