About the course
This course covers keyboard music from the 18th century. The instrumental music from the Baroque relies on contrapuntal models which were common to all musical theory and practice for nearly a century. In the course examples and case studies are studied through analysis, whereafter the student writes exercises in the same style according to fixed models and exercises.
