About the course
Taking a hands-on approach, this course provides a broad introduction to Swedish language planning. The course introduces tools for identifying and managing issues in the areas of corpus planning, plain language ("klarspråk"), terminology and name planning. While the course primarily addresses questions specifically relevant to the Swedish language, the general principles covered are to a high degree also applicable when working with other languages in a Swedish context. Possible fields of application in other languages include translation and multilingual terminology work.
